Invoices

View past invoices, manage payment methods, and check upcoming charges through the Stripe Customer Portal.

Billing history, receipts, and payment methods are all managed through the Stripe Customer Portal. Rather than re-implementing billing internally, kicue leans on Stripe's standard interface for security and a familiar experience.

Accessing your billing history

  1. Open /settings/billing
  2. Click Open Customer Portal
  3. The Stripe Customer Portal opens in a new tab
  4. Your login session is carried over automatically

What you can do in the Customer Portal

  • Past invoices: downloadable as PDF
  • Receipts: suitable for expense reports and accounting
  • Upcoming charges: next billing date and amount
  • Payment method management: add, swap, or remove cards
  • Billing information: update company name, address, tax ID
  • Plan changes: upgrade / downgrade / cancel

Billing cycle

  • Monthly plans: charged automatically on the same day each month from your first payment
  • Annual plans: charged automatically once per year from your first payment
  • The next billing date is always shown under "Upcoming charges" in the Customer Portal

Payment failures

If a charge fails on your registered card:

  • A failure notification email is sent to administrators
  • Stripe automatically retries the charge over the following days
  • If the payment still cannot be completed, the plan is reverted to Free
  • Updating your card details before that point prevents any service interruption
